Just edit your config by adding Comodo Firewall under "Firewall" field, instead of Windows Firewall.

My bad, I over looked that. For firewall, just edit it to "3rd party" and leave Comodo FW and Avast where they are.

Thanks guys, I'll do that when I get home later. I do have Windows firewall running alongside Comodo, I read that was recommended.

I would not recommend doing so and would disable it.

Hi, what I would suggest you do is:

• Add HTTPS Everywhere
• Make sure your using the optimal Avast settings (Hardened Aggressive, and using this)
• Consider also using Emsisoft Emergency Kit and Malwarebytes as a second-opinion scanner.

Other than that, I can't think of anything else.

What do you use for system image backups?
I would consider some type of system backup solution if you do not have one in place.

Did I miss what you have for backups? I'm the guy wearing a tinfoil hat shouting that you need backup.

• Rollback Rx
• Drive Cloner Rx
• Acronis True Image

Changed a few things. currently running Voodoo Shield Pro + Windows Firewall + Windows Defender+ Windows Firewall Control(paid) + Hitmanpro.alert!
